Protect Light Equipment (Problems without XSP)

If all devices are connected on the same DMX line, then all of the devices can be damaged in the event of over voltage on the DMX line.

Protect Light Equipment (No problems with XSP)

Using the X-SP Splitter to spilt the DMX signal into multiple DMX lines can offer a significant degree of protection against over voltage. Only the devices on the faulty line and the corresponding output port of the Splitter will be damaged, the rest will be protected.
